Khan Academy: Gene expression and regulation (started with “Operons and gene regulation in bacteria”)

I found something on reddit that really nailed reassurance for my cohort, but then immediately lost it again. Being non-trads, we’re not ‘naturally’ good at a lot of the premed course things. We’re really good at writing, expression, regulation — this whole array of other things that will make us great doctors.

But it’s weird to be a fish still trying to climb a tree, all the while acknowledging how difficult it is.

Contacted recruiters last night. Exciting stuff.

Literally everything personal has gone sideways over the past few weeks (or even just in the past 2-3 days), but this is one of those “well, it can’t get any worse” things. I did 10/10 my last two orgo quizzes, so I got that going for me.
