In the pathway of the sun,
In the footsteps of the breeze…
Biology: Everything about the cell
Surprise, you’ve been waiting for Actual Bio Class to start and now the stuff you expected to study for the past 3 weeks instead of chem2.0 are all in one lecture. The main takeaway here is that bio isn’t what we expected it to be and we aren’t in high school anymore. Also, it’s kind of biochem. Now, if my dream pathways could just internalize that so I stop having the Community-style nightmares but with senior year Statistics class, that’d be cool.
Review Enzyme Kinetics for quiz. What.
The Michaelis-Menten Model:
Also, but more dense: The Michaelis-Menten Model Accounts for the Kinetic Properties of Many Enzymes
…hence why we’re on Khan.
Also, glancing slightly ahead to the next chapter the Krebs cycle is nigh, and I don’t know if I should be panicking or prepping. Obviously, prepping, but we’re still going to do a little bit of both.
Physics: Torque.
Center of Mass, Static Equilibrium
Rotational Motion: Rotational Dynamics, Torque, Rotational Momentum
So basically: Khan does Torque and so on.
Switching to pregaming class with Khan has been a gamechanger; we have hw due next Friday and how well that goes is the real measure of how well things are working. Post-homework, I need to distill the chapter notes which are currently sprawled to about 4 pages.
Also: ideal gasses are coming up and I am s t o k e d.
Ochem: Send help.
