It’s May and roughly my seventh month here, and it’s time to start thinking about redeployment. August is only three months away, and weather permitting the end of it will find me somewhere, possibly on a beach, picking up a lot of long-missed sun.
Guys, it’s really dark outside.
But end-of-contract means thinking about what’s going to happen after, and while I have another summer contract lined up (!), after that I’m hoping to go back to school.
Again.
I am pretty sure I have written a CV before, but this time around I have a little more meat to put into it, which feels pretty good. I was telling a friend today who commented on how he found his life satisfying but boring on paper that it’s easy to acclimate ourselves to our own lives and forget how cool the things we’re doing to people with outside perspective.
